Capital Croissance has offered liquidity to non-operational shareholders. Capital Croissance supports Seguin in pursuing its growth strategy and speeding up its internationalisation.

Founded in 1976, Seguin is a French family-business, specialised in the manufacture and sales of wood-heating appliances (fireplaces, wood stoves (logs and pellets), hearths and inserts, etc.).

The Group has the largest portfolio, through both its own brands (e.g. Seguin, JC Bordelet, HWAM, Thermolab) and its partners’ ones (e.g. Piazzetta, Vermont Castings, Lohberger). It also stands out due to its solid distribution network, made of more than 150 professional retailers of which over 75 exclusive partners. Thanks to these competitive advantages, Seguin benefits from both a leader position in France and a good global coverage it wishes to further develop.

Based in Randan near Vichy, Seguin employs around 140 ETP.

Aymeric de Galembert (CEO of Seguin): “We wanted to open the shareholding of our company to a partner sharing the same entrepreneurial and familial values and being able to support us in our numerous development paths. The family club named K2 Business Club and managed by Capital Croissance was a perfect fit with our expectations thanks to its long-term and benevolent approach and its added-value accompaniment proposal.”
